I would like to instal some LED headlights on my kids LT80's. Can someone help me me out with simplified instructions on doing so. Think I need a relay and not sure where to tie into power. All help would be appreciated. Diagrams and pictures too would be great.

 

I don't see why a relay would be needed.
You tie into the positive side of the battery.

 

Dont know much about electricity, but i put fog lights in my first car when i was 16. Wired them to the fuse box. Not sure what went wrong, but the whole wire caught fire through the fire wall and to the fuse box. Luckly i was in the car and able to pull the wire with minimal damage.

 

you dont need a relay for l.e.d.'s because there isnt enough draw on the electrical system. just wire positive to the battery, and negative to ground. and put in a 5amp fuse to protect it just to be safe. if you were installing normal bulbs then it would depend on how many watts the bulbs are and what their current draw would be.

if you have access to a wiring diagram you should get positive from the key switch instead of straight to the battery so you can't leave it on by mistake
