Good thought.. Especially since it's advertised to fit several different machines. The ad mentions that the gray wire wasn't needed on Polaris models,that it was a ground wire. It might be worth a shot though to ground the gray wire to the frame and see what happens. If no change then he can run a simple push type kill button on the bars for the black/white wire.
