Default Alpha power sports quad

I bought a used non running A.S. for my kid thinking it would be an easy fix, they guy said it was running but the carb was leaking so he rebuilt an wouldn't start after. I went on Ebay looking for parts an found a new carb for $20 so I bought it and put it on and it still wont start. it seems like it has compression (cant find my compression tester) the plug has spark i spray starting fluid in the carb and still wont fire, I'm kinda lost, I'm pretty mechanically inclined, I fix airplanes for a living, but cant seem to fix this quad lol. help my kid wants his 4 wheeler. the only thing I can see is the carb was slightly different but wouldn't it at least fire from the starting fluid? does anyone have a manual for these things? I'm not even sure if the guy has the right plug in it.

OOOOPSIE..lol
OK, how about a new plug? Sometimes they won't fire under compression.
Plug wet? It's not flooded in the bottom end is it?

I wanted to try a new plug but the plug that's in there looks fairly new, as to why I'm concerned about it being the right plug, I have no info on this thing I was hoping someone would have a manual an tell me the proper plug and gap, I did look slightly wet, but it sits for weeks at a time with out being touched, I have never been able to get it to fire

Just googled it and got https://www.alpha-sports.com/alphasports_parts.htm so they should be able to help with a plug and information.

It's a scooter based machine and they are pretty much all the same motors.
