Eton txl 90 stalling out
I have an Eton Txl 90 for my 8 yr old. It ran great all summer. Recently it began to stall out when giving it throttle after 30 seconds to a minute of running it. So far I have: replaced carb with a new one. Drained gas and changed it (87 octane). Did not change the 2 stroke oil. I have adjusted the screw on the fuel/air and have it idling perfect. But the minute I give it gas it bogs out and sounds like it's getting starved of fuel. When I had the old carb in, I cleaned it. And it did nothing. It has electronic choke so I thought that maybe that was stuck on so I actually pulled the valve out of the choke so there was nothing to choke the carburetor and it was just running unrestricted and still had the same results. I have been reading a little bit and someone said that the shut-off could be constricting fuel to the carburetor and the moment you give it throttle it is using up all the fuel in the bowl and emptying out causing it to stall. The vent cap is venting on tank. I did pull the shut off out and cleaned it but I feel like I should clean it again. I haven't changed the spark plug and is changing the wire difficult or is it just like your typical spark plug wire on a car? What other issues could be causing it to stall out once it's giving throttle when it is running and idling just fine starts up every time and the minute you let off the throttle it goes back to idling just fine. Please help. My 8 yr old is losing faith in me lol

Start by fitting a new plug. Removing the choke will result in air getting in through the passage where the needle used to be so, unless you blocked it, the result would be a weaker mixture. It is possible an electrical fault comes on once the machine has run for a short time, but most cause the motor to cut altogether, and finding it could end up expensive as substitution may be the only way to find it, so be very sure it isn't just dirt in the carburettor main jet before changing ignition components. HT leads are sometimes separate, sometimes moulded into the coil, never known a quad HT lead to give trouble.
