Has any had a problem where they are only getting 3 volts to the starter. I can start it off my truck but if I hook the wires back up I can’t get it to start. Already replaced the sol our, starter and carburetor

 

If your only getting 3v and it starts off your truck then the issue would be the battery. The battery's in these things are only good for a year or 2 at most unless kept on a maintainer all the time. I found the most reliable battery's are from walmart of all places never had issues with these in anything i have put them in. Now i run maintainers on all 3 of my quads they are cheap when you grab them on sale

 

The battery is brand new, tested at 12.5 v and 75 cca

 

12.5 is not a full charge and if it works fine off your truck battery then its a battery issue battery could be to small as well.. What is battery voltage when cranking

 

When I used the battery out of the box it was perfect then after trying to start it is when the battery change voltage and it won’t crank over, also it’s an atv 4 lbs battery

 

The charging system in these things is low lots of starts without a good run inbetween will drain the battery. I keep ours on a tender at all times now
