Are you sure, certain, positive that your trigger coil is sending a pulse to the CDI and that the ignition coil is working, the ignition coil will probably be 12v same as a car, so would need a 12v feed from ignition. This isn't certain to be the case, as Honda's weird AC/DC hybrid uses a similar coil to AC systems.
