Default PLEASE HELP!! ETON rxl viper 90r wire colors on cdi box

So i bought a storage unit at auction and this quad (viper rxl90r w/reverse) was one of the items in there. Did not have complete wiring harness so i have been trying to get it road worthy again. And i noticed there are two wires on the cdi that are different colors then what the diagram says they should be. The wires from the cdi are... Solid light blue and the other dark blue with yellow stripe.. According to the diagram the light blue should be cyan with yellow stripe and the other should be black with white stripe?? could this be whats wrong? Or does the mismatched wire colors not matter?? Any pointers or guidence will be grately appreciated.

Most little Chinese/Taiwanese bikes use Honda's wiring colours, and black with white is kill wire, blue/yellow is feed from trigger coil. I haven't come across any CDI for them that didn't conform to this. A DC CDI doesn't need a kill wire (though some do have them) so I would guess you have a DC CDI which won't work on an AC ignition bike.
