Neighbor lt80100 lbs compression. cleaned carb and exhaust , new spark plug air filter ,ran good when take exhaust off for a minute then it dies down, compression too low? spark tester shows good spark

 

If I'm reading this correct, without the pipe it runs ok? You say "cleaned carb and exhaust". What did you do to the exhaust?

 

we cut exhaust apart burnt out the silencer and pipe and rewelded. It runs ok for a minute with or with out exhaust . If I shut gas off just before it runs out of gas it runs ok . Is 100 psi compression a problem ? Crank seals leaking?

 

After talking to owner machine hasn't ran in a year . drained gas . put new gas with seafoam . cleaned carb again . installed new gas line .shut off. filter . throttle was shut down for 8 year old . I adjusted throttle so it opens and it runs good . do you guys turn throttle down for kids? Thanks for help
