Quad fires right up and idles fine but sounds like rev limiter when you hit the throttle. Cleaned the carb that was fine. Checked all wiring connections and those were okay. Could it possibly be the CDI I just replaced it last year

 

Could be the CDI. Not sure if the 07 was a 2 stroke or 4 stroke. If a 2 stroke, it could be the exhaust blocked. Try cleaning it out.
