Bought this little guy a few weeks ago, not sure what year it is('02?). Apparently info on these is scarce at best. I am currently trying to add a tail light to it but can seem to determine the voltage (6 or 12v). There is no battery in the quad, otherwise i would check there first. Before I go tearing into it, I thought I would ask if anybody knows.

Also, if anybody knows a source for a digital or hard copy of a service or owners manual that would be awesome.

 

What other electrics does it have? If it shouldn't have a battery, it may not have a circuit for powering lights, so you will need to fit one of those bicycle tail lights with a battery built in. Very few bikes built this century are 6v. I can't think of one but, if it should have a battery, start it up and check the voltage at the pos and neg battery leads, rev up and see what you get.
