2006 Baja 90 atv no spark. Need some help please
#1
2006 baja 90cc atv. Just picked up and the previous owner said it was giving them issues when it warmed up it would cut out and sometimes just wouldn't start. He said it axted better after charging the battery.
Started fine and I ripped it around for a bit. Everything seemed fine other than needing wheel bearings and a good cleaning. Put my trickle charger on and Went to start it a couple hours later and cranks but no start. Battery is clearly bad, it showed that it was still charging but I could hear the battery bubbling inside.
Anyways now i have no spark. I used dielectric grease on all the plugs, cleaned grounds and the ground on coil, new plug and still no start. Tried a new cdi and coil. Still no spark. Stator looks clean but that's my next step. I need the specs for testing the Stator. I don't know what else is left to try lol.
Lights work. It cranks. Just no spark. This year has the cdi with the green plug with 5 wires. Also if anyone has any input on what else to check I'd appreciate it. Yes I'm holding brake in. Yes the rear kill switch tether is in place and I've also tried unplugging it

Do the help diagnose stator tests in the Chinese engines section of the forum. Resistance and voltage readings are not that critical, no resistance or open circuit where there should be some resistance is bad, otherwise it is probably OK. Same with trigger coil etc, voltages. I am changing a Honda trigger at the moment, Honda recon 0.7v is OK, normally I find triggers test out at 4v plus.
