Lt80 please help
#1
I have 1987 lt80 brand new top end before replacing, had low compression and could get it too pop with pull start. Now with new top end I can't get nothing from it. Plastic pull start gear has broke. But even with starting fluid. I can't get anything, I have spark, I have good compression that holds at 120 for good amount of time, I'm getting fuel too plug. I'm at a loss of ideas here, please help

Bit puzzled about your pull start references as this was an extra, so it should fire up on the electric anyway. Fit a clean dry plug. If that doesn't work, clean the carb out, I go for removing float bowl and jets, and blowing them and the holes they came from out with compressed air. Stick the carb back on and see if it will start. I help two strokes to start with gas from a gas blowlamp, can't "wet the plug" and doesn't remove the oil from the engines internals like starter fluid does.
