my 250 odyssey has a carb problem i think...... when going up hills or sometimes when you hit it hard it sounds like it wants to go but it cant. its hard to descripe, its not bogging or cuting out but it sounds different than normal and has a little less power when it does this. any info appreciated

You might try checking your float level.

Here are a few places to get clutches. Comet has a kit for the FL250 that includes the drive and driven clutches and a wider belt. The kit comes with either the 94C or the 102C clutch. Both are tunable, but the 102C is a better design.

Not sure what it is supposed to be. It is probably too high. When you are going up hill, it it flooding the machine because it lets more fuel in. Lower the float level a little (bend the tab on the needle up a bit) and see how it does.
