Muffler on a Breeze
#1
Has anyone put a Supertrapp disc type muffler on one of these? If so how far up did you have to jet it and did it help the power any at all?My son is getting bored with the stock power but I am not ready to move him up in size yet.Maybe next year when he is 11 going on 12 but not at 10.

I think the breeze is a pretty good quad to start out on when your 9 years old.
Its a lot better than most of the kid quads out there.
ftwflh,
Is there anyway you can open up the stock breeze muffler?
My reasoning would be to save you the expense of a pipe and the money go
for the next quad.

Boy I hate to tell you that my boy was 9 when he got his Breeze and he rides it places the kids like you cant or wont go.As for a Blaster we had one and it was the biggest piece of junk ever made.Fast ?yes. reliable ?no. Does your dad ride with you or does he just turn you loose?Well my son is under my supervision every time he rides. He started when he was 6 on a Eton 50 that he MX ed and crashed bad enough to break both arms he knows power and how to use it(dont think of doing backflips)he also gets to ride one of my 4x4s when he wants to.And another thing if he made a post like you did he wouldnt have a ride at all.

I put a used SuperTrap muffler and replaced the air box with a K&N filter on my older son's Honda TRX90 (we have 2). The 90 with the mods is now much faster and more powerful. I'll bet the same mods will work on the Breeze.

I've made no jetting changes since I'm going to get a bigger carb and properly jet the new one. You won't believe the wheelies I can pull on this thing!
Next to do is:
18 or 20mm Mikuni carb ~ $75
ITP alum rims with bigger tires for mud. ~ $250 (already have)
Bigger rear or smaller front sprocket. ~ $25
Timing advance key. ~ $5
Better shocks and longer travel. ~ $100
Performance CAM. ~ $200 (Not sure about this yet)

E-Bay - 20 bux used. Had to make an adapter sleeve to bolt it on. I haven't tried removing discs yet, so a little back pressure might help. If you can't find one on E-bay, look to Dennis Kirk or what ever you favorite source might be.
Check this one out $59 New @ E-bay
