Can new companies compare?
TRex, is the Extreme 150 (marketed by "Yerf-Dog") manufactured by the same company that made my son's Sportsman 90? That is what I have gathered after much surfing for a bigger quad for him. He's not ready for a Blaster yet, but could use something a little bigger.

I am concerned about parts availability and prices. If you surf ebay there are a ton of little sport quads in the $1,200 - $1,500 range. The prices are attractive... but if the thing falls apart in a year and it costs $$$ to fix whats the point. I have three kids that will ride the mini hopefully over the next seven or eight years.

Kasea Skyhawks are the best built safest youth quads on the market and have lead the way in technology. Kasea has been around for over 10 years and is highly praised in any atv mag. Be careful buying over e-bay you will have no warranty and most quads sold over the net are discontinued or have serious problems or lack of parts.

if you are looking for something bigger than a 50/80/90 but want to stay with a reliable source, you may want to look into the yamaha breeze. 125cc, auto. very reliable quad, but a little pricey at $2999 msrp. of course for the same price, you could have a brand new blaster, so it really matters as to your childs skill level. good luck.
