Just Bought An 02 Speed!

I was at ATK yesterday and saw a motor on the bench holder being built. One one motor at a time is built until it's completed from what I gathered.. ATK equals top quality. Frank White cares about quality first not quantity.. I saw lots of returned warrantied motors from ???? They are refurbishing motors as well as building new ones from all the parts aquired and there is a shiatload of parts.. All motors will have the new parts that were problematic....

Okay picking up the Speed tommorow! Talked to the guy that has it now and he said it just cranks and will not fire so hopefully it's just a plug, ecu or somthing. I pray it's no internal engine stuff

Okay I have the Dale now! The clutch cover is off of it and the clutch lever has no tension on it so I would assume somthing is wrong there.
The battery must be totally dead because I can't hear the fuel pump or anything and the starter will not even crank. First step is I'm gonna pull the battery and get it tested/charged then see how it goes from there. It also came with a decent set of nerf bars with matching yellow webbing.
This thing sure gets plenty of looks from people I guess they are wondering what the heck it is

Okay I posted two pictures in my gallery (pending approval) one shows the missing clutch cover and what looks to be some sort of aftermarket fuel filter. You guys know of any other reasons why the clutch cover would be off other than a bad clutch?
Checked battery voltage 9.46v not good. I'll charge and retest.

Wis: Thanks for pointing that out, shows you how much I know
Well I bought a new battery last night (old one would not take charge) and have it charged up and ready to go and went ahead and bought a new spark plug as well but now it is raining and I can't work on it. Have to go to work soon so hopefully I can work on the Dale some tommorow.
Anyone know what the correct gap on the plug should be? It's a CR9EK (didn't have 8EK in stock)
