The ATK website lists the Base Kit, as I described, as $1100 - and the other additions as options.

I don't see how you can change your 5th gear ratio in the lowering direction not just once but twice, both the actual gear and upping rear sprocket size, and maintain the same top speed. On sand or asphalt?

I will agree that with lowering rear teeth it will pull harder through all the gears, and the lower 5th will help 5th gear. I simply don't understand how you can do that and not lose top speed.

Where do I find one of these 3500 C Dales your talking about. Hell I would be willing to pay 5k if only I could find one. Honestly I called every dealer I could in southern california and all I could come up with was the ATK I described above. If I could find a left over C Dale for under 6k I would buy it in a second. I probably wouldn't go used on a C Dale because the type of abuse they tend to see but at 3500 I would give it some thought.

As I heard it the ATK440VR and OR are the fastest stock ATV's you can buy but Sandong makes it sound like its not a whole lot faster than a stock YFZ450. If thats so im not sure its worth the extra money.

Here is what I say:

They are even with or + or - a little either way with a YFZ, but you can find them cheaper. New Cannibals sell on Ebay for about 4k, you'd just have to have it shipped.

My personal recommendation is to contact Jeff@TheQuad Shop. The best guy you'll ever do business with. He will sell you a brand new 03 Cannibal LE for $4500 with the updates! I bet he could have it on your doorstep for less than 5k, you'll have 2 grand in your pocket to do whatever you want and a better quad than a YFZ, in my opinion.

The website is www.quad shopatv.com (no space) or come over to www.cannondaler.com or www.cannondaleriders.com and get in touch with him. His service can't be beat.

My bro's YFZ has the cam mod, full pipe, and K&N so it is not stock. I put a custom map in my quad and will have no problems beating a YFZ...
