had the pleasure of going head to head w/ a canibal today... i only weigh 153lbs and obviously my quad has a few extras... but the only reason I sometimes had trouble pulling away was because by 4th gear I was still spinning my wheels. (hard dirt) A few times I had trouble keeping the front down til 4th... (i started in 2nd gear most of the time.) but it wasn't more than a gear change, and i had caught up.

I had the chance to drive this c-dale... (my first dale ride ever) And i must say. It accelerates like a raptor... (pretty much no real guts til the rpms get midrange to high, and it takes a lil while to get there.) The stearing is a lil awkward compared to a yammy honda, or suzy. Extremely tight. (I'm use to more of a flowing movement, like an extension of your arms.) the suspension is a lil rough, similar again to the raptor... fuel injected is cool.

Overall, it's a different but nice looking machine, that has plenty of potential.

today i also raced a:

yoshi piped z400
660 rappy

it may not be right for everyone, but the yfz is definately the quad fer meh....

Sorry about that RyanStones, I actually have an 03 speed. I must of been day dreaming when I typed up my info. Anyway I saw the plastic for the 04 cannondales and I was wondering if anyone might know wehre I could that plastic because I cracked mine and I think the 04 looks a lot diferent, I think it would turn a lot of heads.

I have had 2 Cannon's and in the sand a pipe'd YFZ walks the dog on a piped Cannondale with a pipe. Jerry, I might take you up on that little offer of bringing a YFZ vs your quadzilla. Mine's 325lbs 60+hp

Wow, i think a Dale and Raptor couldn't be any different. A Raptor revs slow, a Dale revs fast. A Dale doesn't have a lot of bottom end and a Raptor does. You can lug a Raptor where a Dale would stall. A Raptor is tall and has a high center of gravity where a Dale sits lower, the steering on my Dale was only slightly more tight than other quads. I don't have the Dale anymore though, sold it after the engine blew up for the second time.

the 450's are faster only because the c-dale spins very badly off the line.
but it also does depend on the type but otherwise the cannondale is faster if it could hook up off the like

my friend owns a cannondale and another one owns a kfx 450 and the kfx won but the cannondale was almost sideways off the line and still came back to lose by a 1/2 a bumper length

I think it is all about the rider... if you have a new rider against an experienced rider the experienced is always gonna win. My dads friend owns a raptor with a ton of mods on it and we were up at the dunes and he was smoking everyone he raced then he let his friend race it a few times, he just go into riding and he was in the back most of the time. So I think it doesn't matter what you have, its whether you know how to run it or not. Also no matter what you have there is always gonna be someone out there faster lol
