Default ATK rebuilt 450 motor

I'm currently having my motor rebuilt by ATK and bored to 450 with the thinking my engine problems or over. I know i still have to kept up with my normal maintenence. But or my engine problems over? If you are currently running a ATK motor I would like to here from you, especially the 450. Does it pull harder, what type of mapping you using, and any problems with engine?

Sorry, I don't have a real answer to your question, but you aren't "CornDog" from a few years ago are you?

Oh, and if I remember correctly, the ATK motors are supposed to solve all the little C-Dale flaws, but don't quote me on that.

Hey Sandgod, thanks man for the advice i'll do that. So are you other wise happy with your motor, have you experince any other problems, bottom line do you think it's worth it. With you being in Utah can you tell me more about the ATK motors you seen out there. And what kind of mapping you run on?

Problems will happen or maybe they won't. The Z400 bearing should be an improvment. Nobody knows for sure, yet.. Now as far as anything else goes it's like any other brand. Some people have all the luck and some have no luck.. The 450 is a nice addition. You won't have any problems beating cam modded YFZ's. We run the Moto/Speed map..If you have a D&M kit you can adjust the flowrates, offsets, ect.. If not you should find a dealer or somebody in your area for some help. I know of three ATK motors here and they all RIP.. I ride w/ all of them... I talked to Cord tonight. He went home sick today w/ the flu so he may not make it in for a few day/s.. Make sure they don't assemble your motor untill you do what I told you.. Ask for Travis in that case..
