Can anyone list the seven defects that the Cannondale engine has that need fixing? Will these fix really
make the CDALE engine last? I have a down engine, that I am thinking about repairing and rebuilding
myself if I know what to fix.

Everything you will ever need to know is there if you use your search button . All service manuals are free for the downloading and every problem has been adressed . All factory updates can done easily and for very little money if thats what your refering to but there are dozens engine mods that can vastly improve the reliabilty that stock engines could only dream of. Several engine swaps have been done but not with far more work than simply updating the Dale engine.
