Problem in engine cradle

Default Problem in engine cradle

i have an 03 cannibal and the engine cradle cracked on both sides in the front right behind the battery, is this a common problem? Is there any way to prevent this?

any help appreciated.....

I wouldn't call it common but it does happen. Just have it welded up by a competent welder. You may also add a little gusset to the area to distribute the shock.

Only prevention is to quit casing the landings. LOL

Default Problem in engine cradle

..Most times,that happens cause the engin cradle bolts are lose.I think also not haveing the front motor mount update will cause that also,along with cracking engin mounts..

Default Problem in engine cradle

There are so many welds in that area that the internal stresses tend to get a small crack formed in that area. Just weld em back up . If you dont know a welder I have several on the shelf already repaired and ready to go. PM me for shipping info.
