I've come across another issue with the '01 that has been sitting in the weather. When running, we are getting oil blowby into the air box (filter). This is coming from the hose that connects to a fitting on the right side frame spar. Thought it was overfilled, but drained both spars and the crankcase, and refilled with one quart, per the manual, and the problem persists. If it was a car, I'd look for a PCV problem, but I don't know where to start here. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Oil Blowby
I've been doing some research, and now have a better understanding of the system. When I drained the oil, there was much more oil in the crankcase than in either frame spar, which indicates a problem, based on what I've read.
The scavange pump is working correctly if there is oil flowing into the frame spar from a hole right below the dipstick / fill, right, or is there something else to check here?
Upon initial startup after the oil change, it ran with no blowby, but after sitting for a day, it started blowing into the airbox again. I was wondering if this might indicate a check ball problem, because the oil would flow past the ***** and into the crankcase while sitting?
If I need to dig into one or both of these possible issues, can they be fixed whith the engine still installed, and are any necessary parts and gaskets readily available?
