Im SOOO glad they got rid of the old nerfs (new pro-pegs), lights, & tires!!! I absolutly LOVE it!!! I REALLY like the new graphics, kill switch, wheels, handlebars, & rear 18" tires!! I like that it isnt almost touchin the ground!

My GOD!!! The Moto 440 comes with Braking Wave rotors!!! Hydraulic clutch!!! But why not zero-preload type shocks and such a heavy weight? That can't be dry weight...

The new picture of the moto440 looks like it sets way tall. I liked the older one better. Cannondale is very race savvy, so I’m sure there will be a way to adjust the shocks and lower that ride height a bit. Ohlins should come out with a zero preload shock for them, or maybe the already are. I applaud Cannondale on everything they are bringing to the sport! Way to go!

I realy dont see how they can get that much money for the moto440. That kinda makes me wonder if the price mudmunster is quoting isnt correct. i mean ok it is full race set up but i am business minded and this doesnt sound correct. I could change a cannibal into the same quad for less than 13000. ok heres a list.

cannibal> $6995
Shocks> $1600
A arms> $600
Tires> $500
Nerfs> $180
Bars> $80
Clutch $450
Rotors> $300

This total comes to $10,705. They cant charge full extra cost on all these upgrades cause i mean a arms shoudnt be but a slight increase cause they need a arms any way and they are just slightly longer, shocks should be an increase of about half the value of the shocks since they all come with shocks and they arent sending you an extra set like you would have if you built a cannibal. All these upgrades should only have a slight increase in price over the others. All i got to say is i know that if the moto's price is realy that much the only people that are going to be buying it is some one with lots of money and no ambition to build one his self. If they would sell it around $10g they would be in the ball park. I am getting a cannondale plus one for my GirlFriend but not sure what model til they release the actual price that they will be selling these for.

you forgot the axle for about $100 more. But I totally agree! It shouldnt be over $10,000 at all! I loved the moto440 untill i heard the price, now im gonna get a suzuki z400. There less than HALF the price of the moto!
