Difference between early Cannibal and Speed?

For $5999, I'd jump on it unless it's been abused. Especially if they give you the full 6 month warranty. Now you are looking at 2K price difference between the Cannibal you found and a new Speed. I'd get the Cannibal, not enough differences between these 2 quads to justify the price difference.

And the older computer is still mappable but just won't store multiple mappings? Is this correct?
I don't really care about being able to change mapping on the fly. I believe what I have read is that you can still remapp the older ECU if you have the software on a PC.
How much difference is there in the new fuel injectors? Is there a big performance difference?
I guess if it's that much difference I could get the upgraded components for $459 and still save $1500 off the cost of a speed. I like the gray plastic better, but it's not worth an extra $2k
The added bonus is that I can use the extra 2k toward a Sportsman 500 HO with a trade in of my Scrambler. Then I have the best of both worlds, Sportsman for farm work and hunting, and the Cannibal for fun.

I just talked to the dealer again, he said the quad comes with full warranty and has less than an hour on it and only in their parking lot never on the dirt. He also said all of the recall retrofits had been done.
They are sending it back to Cannondale this week unless I put a deposit on it by tomorrow morning. I guess I need to make a decision.

Why would the dealer send it back to Cannondale? That sounds kind of strange?? Maybe they just threw that out to put some pressure on you to make a decision. I would get the serial number off the bike, that way you could tell how long it's been at the dealer. Mine is #498, it was acquired on 10/16/01.
