Picked Up a Speed today.

evhwg,
Any Cannondale quad can be remapped to any other Cannondale map.
BUT, it changes all other information along with the rev limit. Owners, please do not remap stock exhaust Cannibals and Speeds with a Blaze or Moto map, air/fuel ratios, timing, etc will be changed and can damage the engine by being to lean. And if the exhaust is changed, please request the proper mapping to go with the system from the silencer manufaturer to ensure they have dynoed the system and created a map for their system for proper air/fuel ratio.
Dealers and owners can load maps with the Optimum software but care should be taken to choose the correct map for the particular setup. It is easy to do properly, but it is not as easy as loading a Moto map into a completely stock Cannibal. Damage will result.
Cdaleracer,
Cannondale is not currently shipping any quad with a braided rear brake line. No plans to do so have been announced yet.
SparkyEX,
The Cannibals being shipped during the last four to five weeks are with the hydraulic clutch. Every Cannondale product being shipped since has the hyd clutch as they have changed to the SSM engine cases for it and they will not use the old cases anymore. Not any problems with the old ones, just a change to the hyd clutch system on the right side of the case.
The best bargain there is right now is to find a recent shipped Cannibal with Ohlins, hyd clutch, and all the Speed goods except for the bars, and 11,600 rev limit (which is easy to change), all for a $1,000 less.

The dealer where I got the speed had a cannibal with Ohlins and ITP's but not a hydraulic clutch. If it had the clutch I probably would have gotten that instead of the speed, the only other difference I saw was the silencer and bars.

Mine has the hydraulic clutch. Very smooth feel to it too. I'm thinkin about rear steel braided lines too but I have to buy nerfs, 18" tamers, and order new front wheels first. If I have the extra cash I'll get the steel lines though. I'm gonna save up the $$$ for extended a-arms and a wider axle too because the dale is pretty dang tippy. Maybe I should just get the extended a-arms and buy wheel spacers for the rear, I have a part time minimum wage job and over half of it goes to payments on my quad.

<< Congratulations. If I were buying a Cdale the Speed is what I would get. I think it is worth it to get the better rims and shocks, and the better fuel injection mapping. Do you have any pics of it? >>
Just one picture so far of my son sitting on it dreaming of the day I let him ride it.
My new Speed
