All I can say is WOW!

The deal on the Cannibal I was looking at just kept getting uglier so I passed on it. Found a Speed at a reasonable price (MSRP) and drove 2 1/2 hours this morning to get it. I haven't even had it out on the dirt yet, but from the few minutes up and down the street the power is amazing. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have time to ho riding.

Serial # is 24.

Jay

Congratulations. If I were buying a Cdale the Speed is what I would get. I think it is worth it to get the better rims and shocks, and the better fuel injection mapping. Do you have any pics of it?

Way to GO Jay! The Cannondales are Awesome machines! I'm excited for ya and hope you'll let us know how the SPEED does for you. My 'bull (VIN #20) has changed a lot since i got it in October. Now with about 45 hrs, it is smoother, quieter, stronger and better handling than initially, and has never failed to start and run. Plus I've finally got the 'special' tools together to work on it! Spent the whole day in the garage working on Quads and the Yamaha's required far more attention. Anyway, you've got a great bike. hope you can sleep before ridin8&gt

Thats great JayBR! I think you'll love it when you get it in the dirt. And love it even more when you start making adjustments on the shocks. I have a question for all of you 02 C-Dale owners. Has Cannondale ever started using a steel braided brake line on the rear, or is it the same line as the 01 C-Dales.

Thanks YoDaddy. JayBR your drive to your dealer is almost the same as mine. LONG drive home with a new quad huh? I remember I thought about stoping a few times and unloading mine on the way back hee! hee!

Hey C'Racer, did you replace the brake line on yours with steel? I know R/S has em. Sounds like a good idea. My dealer is 1.5 hours and that was too long for me. I stopped and rode on the way home!

The best thing about the Speed over the Cannibal is the clutch. An adjustable hydrolic clutch that is not an option for the Cannibal. Everything else can be added, bars, seat cover, rev limiter, etc.
