I realize that this is a cannondale forum here and I hate to bring this up in such heady company, but reading through this forum there seems to be a lot of heads up technical knowledge in this group, and I wanted to pose this question to some of the more savvy readers here if they dont mind.
I have two 250X/350X's. They are to be my son's first competition rides - he is 16. One is set up for motocross with the new "Elca" triple rates on modified shock towers, 400 ex +2+1 a-arms, lsr axle, all the std goodies (or most anyway) a TC 365 kit with standard TC Lectron 38/44, SuperTrapp, head porting (33mm) 924 (TC's #) cam and latest cdi all with a 12:1 piston. The other one is a 425cc flat tracker with 13:1 JE piston , .315" TC modified cam, ti springs etc, 36mm porting, lectrom 38/44, new cdi, supertrapp, custon long runner headers, and all the normal TT or flat track suspension stuff).

I designed and built a couple of aluminum ("billet&quot intakes for these carbs in an attempt to optimize intake air flow velocity. I added rubber isolators inside these manifolds to dampen the shock loads on the carbs. I have not got much test time (like about 10 minutes)before winter hit (first impressions were good, but I have a biased viewpoint lol). I wonder if anyone out there has done any testing of this sort of mod on 350X's or had any experience playing with this on similar sized four strokes. Would appreciate hearing from someone who has gone this route before I try to reinvent the wheel.
