CdaleRacer, a question for you.

OregonMXRacer,
Hey, just reading your posts, seems like you need a job, but cant find one, not sure how old you are, but whne I was 14-18 I did lots of odd jobs for money and make quite a bit actually, a rule of thumb my father tought me, pay cash for toys and get loans for houses. I assume a quad is a toy for you, so if you can pay cash for it, and you'll save yourself thousands in interest. So your asking "how am I going to make the money smart guy"
1. UPS is always hiring people to load trucks with boxes, if your old enough go check it out, they will pay you prety well and you could work the weekends
2. Home Depot is nationwide and has a slough of jobs for younger adults that need cash, you could work at night and weekeknds, and forget TV and parties, if ya know what i mean,
3. You would be suprised how much money you can make in your neighborhood, I netted nearly 3 thousand one summer mowing and removing leaves from gutters and doing lawn maintence in the older neighborhoods, just make 200 flyers at Kinkos and go door to door and passthem out wit hyour rates and what you do, label it "Scrub for hire" or some catchy name and you'll get some calls,
Not trying to preach to you at all, just giving you some suggestions on how to make some tax free cash in a down economy, you might have to work hard, but in the end you'll have your Cdale and it will be worth it.
Good luck!!

Thanks for the info trout. But there are some problems that make it impossible to do pretty much any of the stuff you mentioned. OK, I'm 15 so getting a job is pretty tough as it is. Next is my neighborhood is about 5 or so houses near me, and only 2 of the people actually like me(it's not a good idea to ride on roads with mean old ladies living near by, even if the cops say you can, SLOWLY!) As for UPS, I looked into it, but there are child labor laws, and lifting more than XXX amount is not an option for me. Home Depot, I haven't tried there, but I'm sur the same thing will happen. I put in applications at all the Fast food restaurants around, and some veterinary clinics as kennel help. Right now I babysit for my mom about 4 hours a day, but my aunt gets paid for it for some reason. I am trying to make a deal with her to babysit for XX days and hours, for like $100 a month. Then if that happens, my mom will get another loan to kind of consolidate the two payments together, and I'll have a quad, and she'll have a better credit rating for paying off her old loan. Oh one last thing, to everyone who has been responding to my posts, thank you. I know I sound like I'm saying I'm getting a quad, then blah blah blah happens, and yet you guys haven't been annoyed by it(or at least haven't said anything that makes me think you are) and I appreciate that because this forum is a good place to learn about your quad and just talk about our favorite thing to do. I guess I just need to quit getting my hopes up about it, until the quad and title is in my hand. I have learned something from the last 2 years of trying to get a quad, an dthats not to rely on other people to do something for you. If you want something done, do it yourself.
