Problems with the battery location?
#1
I was wondering if anyone has torn a battery cable off or had any damage to the solinoid? It looks like it's in a vulnerable location.
I hope my boot doesn't slip down and hit it or a tree branch or a rock fly up. I might just be overlooking something, just wondering if anyone has had any trouble.

I agree with Ryan, I rode a couple of weeks ago at the track and it was really muddy and my battery got caked with mud and grime, i went to the car wash and sprayed it down and it works just fine. IF its any consulation, the wires and cover going to the battery are super strong and thick and the battery terminals are well covered.

Cool. I was hoping that. I couldn't imagine them putting it there, unless it would take the abuse.
I can't wait til April 29th to pick mine up now! No quad for a month is going to kill me. How about the swingarm skids. How do they hold up? Anyone make a aluminum one yet?
