I still can't for the life of me figure out why the front end of my new cannibal is loose. The Ball joint look brand new and have about a 1/16th of in inch play same with all tie-rods. I will be placing a call into Cannondale tomorrow. I don't see why the components they chose have play. It's actually starting to **** me off.

Anyone??

Silly question but are the tightend to spec?

Harry at Trinity said to take a needle and fill the rubber boots with grease, and to check that there is no play in them when you pull the tire up, without a load on it of course.

Theres about a 1/16th of an inch of play up and down and left and right. Is anyone elses different??? I did this on my Cannibal and a 2 hour old Speed both had this play.

People please give me some feedback on this, go give your Cannindale a HUG and post the results here!!

Yep, definitely play, and it has me puzzled too. I don't notice any bad effects at speed though.

I have a little play in mine, it doesn't seem to adversely affect the handling though.

Funny I talked to Mike at Cannondale and he told me there shouldnt be any play. I'm bringing the quad to my dealer next week.
