I failed to tighten my trans. oil check bolt enough and it fell out during my last practice (luckily at the end of it) but I didn't notice it until I unloaded my quad from the truck the next day. I haven't ridden it since Wed. (which is when the practice was) since it obviously won't hold any oil w/o that bolt. I didn't tighten the bolt enough because I was scared it was goin to break off in the motor. It stayed there for a race, lots of practice on the track, and lots of riding around my house but than Wednesday, it fell out . Is there any kind of plug that I can stick in there and pop it out when I need to check the level. I would like a plug a lot better than a bolt so that I don't risk the chance of breakin the bolt... what do yall think?

The parts illustration did not list it's size but chances are it's metric. Maybe just measure the hole and run to the hardware store and buy a short bolt, you should be able to get the right one, might have to buy a couple to make sure you get the correct thread and bolt size.
The drain bolt part number is:
593-5000920

Hey.. I dunno if you've realized it or not, but Hardy's Auto Parts carries alot of the bolts I need. They had everything I wanted when I rebuilt my R. Go back with some blue loctite and a bolt. You could always stick a tampon in it and hope for the best..
