Idle speed?
#1
Ok, I know the idle is supposed to be at 2100-2200 but my question is, do you have to turn the idle screw a lot to make a little difference in the idle or not? I don't have time to work with it right now so I figured I would ask yall so I know ahead of time when I do have the time to work w/ the Dale.
Thanks.
KNOWSALOT - You think my problem is the idle speed? I'm gonna give it a try later today when I get back home.
Thanks.

Yeah, I guess I fixed my problem!!
So how could it run just fine one day and then when I take my plastics and gas tank off and than put it all back together a few days later, the idle is all of a sudden to low????????????????

good question, but it IS possible that as you removed stuff and put it back on you hit the Idle screw and it turned it down a notch, other possibility is that is the process your "O" ring in your gas swelled and you are running lean, but I bet you just bumped the idle screw.

Well, there is no way that I could have bumped it since it is kinda hard to get to and all I did was take off the gas tank and rear shock. I told Kyle at R&S about it and he said some weird things can happen but he didn't really have an explanation for it either. I guess it's just one of those Twilight Zone (sp?) things .
Just some info for all you C-dale owners... If you start your quad one day and it won't idle very long (less than 10 sec.) and the RPM's are running really low at idle speed, and the quad just shuts off when you barely tap the throttle... the fix may just be as simple as the Idle speed.
It was a minor, simple thing that I just looked over because I was so busy checking the o-rings, and seeing if the fuel lines were hooked up right, ect. ect.
