I remember in one of the treads everyone was talking about the injector offset being adjusted to a leaner setting.

What was it?
I will be having re-mapped do you still need to do this?

Thanks

Smitty

Yes you still need to do this every set of injectors is flow tested at the factory and given a offset based on that.So to give you a specific number wouldnt work you need to change the offset by a percentage I was told 3%.If that % is wrong I would like any other advice since I am getting different opinions from everyone.

hey guys, what's up? If i wanted to send my map to r&s to get re-mapped to the motto map and have them tune it with the hmf silencer and send the package to me would they have that problem you guys are talking about already integrated into the chip or is that something you have to do after they up-grade the chip at your local dealership? I don't know. Could someone tell me how all of that works? Thanks, Jared

3% probally works as well as anything else, because alot of different variables come in, much like jetting a carburetor.

We go 4% and haven't had any problems.

I put a post titled "solution for fauled plugs", my dealer set my injector offset from ".98" to ".90". It seems to idle a little faster and it hasn't fauled a plug since.

Yes, the leaner setting eliminates the fouling problem because almost all the Cannondales are set too rich out of the crate. All of ours have been anyway.

We had one guy who continuously had fouling problems even when following Cannondale revised [for the 5th time] starting procedure. We even fouled it once just to drive it around back. The leaner setting [4%] solved the problem and hasn't fouled one since.

I have my ride set at -4% also. More power and better starting have been the benefits.

For the last 5 or 6 months, we do this to every Cannondale as soon as it's uncrated. You CAN tell a difference between one not altered and one that has.

I noticed a bigger difference in the one I race with this change alone than I did after the re-map.
