Anyone here have PRM skids? If so how do you like them. Do you have to take the back sprocket off to install the swingarm skids?

I've got the full set and love em, just put a set on my son's Mojave as well. I did have to take off the sprocket to get the swingarm on but it was no big deal.

I've got the swingarm and belly skids. The swingarm skid is pretty hefty. To install it, you can loosen the chain tension and take off the rear sprocket without removing the chain. I may have removed the brake rotor too, but I don't remember.

I had a serious fit-up issue with the belly skid. There are two attachment holes near the front (under the radiator and between the shocks) and I could only get one hole lined up properly. I thought the belly plate was defective and sent it back to R&S for another. Kyle tried to fit mine up on a few quads that they had in stock and said that it fit good on most but was a little tight on others. We concluded that the location of the holes in the bottom frame plate is a little different on each quad. Anyway, I got a new belly plate and had the same fit-up problems. It's attached with 3 bolts instead of four. If you have AC nerfs you'll also have to cut a notch out on both sides to accommodate the nerf mounting tab. No big deal, but it's not a quick bolt-up.

While I agree the fit and matching up the bolt holes on the PRM chassis skid plate was a pain, it wasn't that bad. I ended up using a couple screwdrivers to line up the holes up front and pulled it into place with them. I also DIDN'T have to cut any notches for my AC nerfs to clear........JIM

I did the same as Alaska, alignment tool in the holes and no problems at all. I have the Moto nerfs and didn't have to trim anything.
