Tie rod and ends assemblies

JIM,
I may be wrong about this but I thought that the Cannondale tierod ends had a larger shank where they attach to the steering stem and spindle?? I know the Cannondale use much larger tierods than the Honda's but if you are using the Honda rod, this part shouldn't be a problem. I'm just still weary on the fitment of the spindle and stem.
I may be wrong like I said, and I hope I am since you ordered up some Honda's already.
Let us know how it goes. I feel your experiment is something everyone could benefit from regardless of the outcome.
There is another member here who tried something similar, but I can't recall his screen name. I'm not sure what he tried using, but they didn't work for the reason I just desribed as well. Maybe he'll chime in here.
