I haven't ridden a Blaze or a Moto with the dual rate springs and rezzies, but the shocks on mine are okay. They soak up the large hits pretty good, but they have way too much rebound in the short choppy stuff. From what I've heard, the Ohlins on the Moto/Speed do well for up to a level "A or B" rider. Suspension is one thing though that can make all the difference in a podium finish. PEPS are fairly cheap for the quality of the shocks. I know Alaska is running Elka's on his Speed right now. He only has one race on them though.

 

Beyer - If you go to the TQRA at Weatherford this weekend, I'll be there (prolly not racing) and I'll have the Dale with me. I'll let you take it for a spin... prolly not on the track but I'm sure there will be enough room somewhere to open it up.

When I let people ride it, they always look at me funny when I tell them not to putt around, and to nail the throttle and give it hell. Until they ride it, they just don't know how much better it runs in the high rpm's.

 

2 guys that I race w/ on banshees named bobby beach and some 18 year old, bobby rides a red and black banshee hes kinda fast his banshee used to be white a bout 2 months ago? Is that the banshee rider your talkin a bout?

No- Laramie Kinchen is the one they call Bull Dog. He has a Roll Design quad. Laramie and I are going to Fernwood Wednesday for practice. Bobby is who I was talking about. Ive gotten to know him pretty good. Rock Hill is his home track. He raced at Fernwood the night the guy on the Moto 440 was there. Ive never heard of the guy on the 400ex. Did he beat Bobby or did Bobby not race?

I wont ride for about 1 week,were putting new rings in my R but Ill probably make the landing next tuesday night?What is the better track to you the fernwood mx or rock hill?I havent been there in a long time-fernwood

 

Yea- Laramie is faster than most people. Laramie is 16 and will easily turn pro oneday.

Laramie raced at Rock Hill a couple of weeks ago and beat Bobby, but not too many people can beat Bobby at Rock Hill.

How did you like that big jump kind of in the middle of the track?

 

The Landing is a DEATH TRAP. I swore to never go back. Rock Hill is a little better but just because the dirt is better than Fernwood.

 

Hey mrp, give me an honest opinion on the ohlins after you get them.
