Florida rider beware
I just go poped on this today and didn't even know about it. The cop wanted to arrest me. It seams as though there is a new law regarding atv needing to be registered in the state of Florida as of 7/01/2002.

And this one.
The cop how stoped me told me they are illegal to ride because they are too dangerous and set everything on fire (brush). Can you believe this. I am called that police dept tomorrow to get their angle.

from the link that u posted, to me it sounds like if you purchased ur bike after july 1 then you have to get it registered. but from other things I have read. that by the end of this year the state of florida has to have 5 public off rode use areas in florida when this takes effect then everyone useing the public areas for off road use has to have the bike registered. Where did you get poped at??
