I was just wondering if any of you guys that drag race have rigged up a shift light for your cannondale. In the higher rpm's I cant hear my rev limiter. I was wanting to rig a light so it comes on just before I hit my limiter. Does anybody make one? If not how would be the best way to do it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I alraedy have an hmf silencer and I still don't hear it. The guys at the track say they hear it but with my helmet on I can't hear it. Besides I don't want to hit it I would like the shift light to come on just before it gets to the limiter.

That's going to be a tough one. You may not be able to plug into the existing harness and pull a signal off of the ECU. I would Call Cannondale and ask.

Some form of induction Coil like the ones on a timing light will pick up the signal and than you would need to have electronics count the signal and program a shift point. If I knew anything about electronics, I would start there.
