In theory, the moto map should come on harder at a lower rpm and the blaze map should come on later in the rpm range. But I've heard guys talk about the 2 maps and basically did not see hardly any differences.

The Blaze map is identical to the Moto map with the exception that the throttle transient is lower (which should mellow response a bit) and that the area around 1/4 throttle up to around 5000 RPM has a lot of timing pulled out so that it is tamer for technical riding.

Well, here - I'll show you the differences (shown below are only a few of the parameters in the cal, but show all the differences):

Calibration comparison

In the timing table the numbers in blue represent a value which matches the value in the file being compared to - green indicates a value greater than being compared to, likewise red indicates a value less than that being compared.

If you have any other questions, PM me.

250R,

Your using the Full version from Optima right? Is this what the standard files look like and how you adjust them?

Does the software come with information on what each of the adjustment do? What is the coraltion between values?

Thanks

Smitty

PS How is the other project going? Did it get shut down?

What you see *is* the "other" project.

Cool, eh.

I don't have info on what each of the adjustments do, but being familiar with EFI, I can make an educated guess as to what's going on.

For instance, the Accel transient is similar to the accelerator pump. The table you see is the ignition advance table in degrees, etc, etc...

Yes, I can edit
