first ride on the black bull!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, i wanted to wait and ride the black bull a couple of times before i wrote about it.
first off i want to say this is the best looking quad i have ever owned and also the fastest. i had knowsalot put the full hmf exhaust and motto mapping on it and it just rips!!!! it's so nice to put 93 octane gas in a quad and take off. all the money i have spent on my big bore honda (race gas, port, etc.....) and this stock c-dale will blow it away. i like the c-dale more and more everyday.
after putting around for three hours it was time for the break in oil to go. after placing the quad on the four wheeler lift, it was time to change the oils. first was the transmission, as i suspected (and was prepared for) the transmission filter was full of metal shavings. after about 10 minutes the transmission was cleaned and had fresh fluid in it.
next was the engine oil, this was a different story all together. i think if i had lived a little closer to the c-dale manufactoring plant i would have drove over there and kicked somebodies a$$. there is so much creative engineering that went into building the c-dale, and then some dumba$$ desides to put five different locations to change the oil. about forty minutes to get it all out. the rear return engine filter was a real pain!!! other than that one location everything else was pretty easy to get to.
well, it's done and everything turned out pretty good. i adjusted the chain, pretty nice set up and real easy. the axle lock nut was loose. i tightened it back up but i do not know how it will hold (looks kind of weak) but time will tell. anybody have any other suggestions for a new c-dale owner? also, anyone tried the anti-vibe bar clamp for the c-dale, i've seen them for around $70. i want one for the pro taper bars.

Yeah and after wrestling with that little filter for 15 min did you find the same as me ????. NOT A DAM THING IN IT. hehe boy did i feel like a putz after that. I think i will check it like every 3rd oil change.
