Tuesday of last week I bought a new '02 Cannibal w/Ohlins suspension from Apache Cannondale Honda Yamaha....... for $5500. From the first day I didn't think it ran right. After putting a couple of hours on it over the weekend, I checked the coolant and oil levels and found the there is oil in the coolant, and vice versa. WTF!! I took it in tuesday, hoping to get it running right sometime in the near future. Wednesday afternoon I get a call from Apache. They had talked to Cannondale earlier that day, and Cannondale told them not to fix my bike, but to give me a new '03. After picking my jaw off of the floor, I asked if they were going to put the Ohlins on the new bike, they agreed without hesitation. They are also going take the steering damper and renthals off of the '02 and put them on the '03, at no charge. I have always liked Apache, and like them even more now. Cannondale is also an awesome company, they really want to make their customers happy. In my case, they have succeeded.

 

Now that's what I like to hear.

 

This is the reason that we need to support cannondale in any way we can. They are an American company that will bend over backwards to make their customers happy. I havn't had my c-dale long but if they keep treating their customers like they do I will be a loyal cannondale owner for life.

 

That is, perhaps, the coolest thing I have ever heard...

every one that knocks cannondale should read this . i just had the header replaced on my moto for free and the shifter was tweaked. and got a new one too let see one of the big 4 stand behind there quads
like this yea right i will never say a bad thing about them how could some one .

 

thats really cool . i wish Yamaha would listen! I'd own a cannondale if I could get past the looks. it jsut doesnt appeal to me. maybe a redesign in a couple yrs?

I had a similiar scenerio back about three months ago, my engine was puking oil into the airbox and I took it in and cannondale sent me a new engine, with a hydraulic clutch and the new ECU1000 computer and it was all free, except for the engine and tranny oil that the dealer put it. Cannondale is very good to us.
