Default Ohlins vs Arvins....help!!!

My cannibal is one affected by the shock recall on the arvin shocks. Since the arvins are on 6 to 8 week backorder, my dealer said that cannondale would let me upgrade to the shocks on the speed (Ohlins) for 300 bucks. Would this be worth it? I don't race at all, so I don't need total adjustability, and have heard good things about the Ohlins.

Well, for $300 or wait 6 to 8 weeks to ride the bull again, I'd opt for the 300 bucks even if I didn't need the extra adjustability!!!

My question would be which Ohlins? The ones on the Speed are not THAT adjustable.

If your already spending $300 you may as well step up to WORKS, PEP, AXIS or ELKA's and get the them set up for your riding style and weight.

IMHO

I agree with smitty spend the extra money now you won't regret it. The Ohlins are nice, but those others are better.
