I went to the shop today and he said the flywheel cracked and my timming went off. He said it was common but I never heard of it. I am stoked that I will be able to make this next trip out to Glamis.
Oh Sandtastic if your in to peds let me know Iam in Rialto and have built a nice ped shop. If your local look me up if you need parts. I have a few scooters 4 sale if your looking.

Well, here's what happened. Looks like the bolts (have since been changed to studs) that held my crank were never properly tightened. Needless to say, they flew off and you can only imagine how much damage that would cause. I can't imagine how my bike ever ran to begin with.
SO.........the dealer had originally said that Cannondale would just give me a whole new motor, and be done with it. Now he says that trying to get a whole new motor would be asking for a little too much. For me, I would really get some peace of mine from a completely new and updated motor, but we'll see. I'll find out today.

That was my thinking as well, but my dealer said really the transmission wasn't destroyed, and the head was perfect. I will be very dissappointed if that ends up happening.
