Default Would it be wise?????????

Quoting from the C'dale web-site...

" Pegasus would operate the bicycle business as a going concern with the involvement of current management and would purchase separately the Company's motorsports assets, including the intellectual property related to the design of Cannondale's motorsports products. "

Read between the lines here, people. If Pegasus didn't think that the motorsports division was capable of making money, they wouldn't be worried with the intellectual property, or that division in general. If it wouldn't make money this lender would just take over Cannondale, make bicycles, and liquidate the motorsports division.

Cannondale will be back, but how it is restructured/owned/operated is yet to be determined.

Yodaddy- sell now and take your losses. It sucks either way. Kinda like 01 raptors. You know the tranny is going to bust so fix it now for piece of mind. Even if they do survive things will be rocky for a long time. Save the headache and bail now. It is cool to own something different but in the end it can be a pain in the a$$. Buy another brand and go ride. The only problem is cannon dale was the best for your riding style.

How hard to put a different engine in it???

I don't give a damn about the chassis. When it comes right down to it, all a quad is, is a frame, swingarm, a-arms, axle, shocks, steering stem, and motor. The only thing I'm worried about in that list is the motor. Now I haven't had any problems out of mine, but lets face it.... how many years can a quad go w/ NO motor problems what so ever? My guess... not very long. With me riding it... an even shorter amount of time. I have thought about all the quads that I COULD buy and the only one that is worth a ****, IMO, is the R. Well no thanks, I'm not buying a quad that is that old. Well that leaves me with every other quad that is either underpowered, overweight, or both underpowerd AND overweight. So as far as I can see... my only option that would keep me somewhat happy would be to ride my C-dale till the motor goes to the ***** and then see what me and Chris can do w/ a CRF motor and my frame. The problem with that is, I could buy the motor for $3,000 but unfortunately I can't afford to buy a $300 axle! So building a CRF/C-dale quad would probably just end up sending my wallet even farther into the ***** than it already is.

Antoher option would be to say screw quads, and go buy a bike. BUUUUUT for anyone that knows me, they know that I am probably one of the biggest quad freaks in these forums. SOOOOOOOOOO, I've already said screw bikes, I'm stickin to quads.

You know what would help me out so much? A friggin sponsor that would be willing to help me build a CRF/C-dale quad. But the people in hell will have to bust out w/ heater before I ever have a chance of getting someone to help me out like that. So the way I see it, I'm F'n SCREWED.
