message to potential corporate buyers...

For anyone out there contemplating buying the now beseiged motorsport division of Cannondale let me say this: THE HARD WORK IS MOSTLY DONE! While every investment has risk, I think it is fair to say that a lot of the downside has been taken out of the equation. For the last 3 years cannondale has solved a lot of problems and righted a lot of wrongs. Their 6 million dollar investment will surely pay off for someone. The bikes and quads are worlds better than they were at the start and the races won are proving it.
There are a lot of people who are carving up Scott and his dad for making bad decisions from the start, but in reality,I think there are mostly guilty of being optimists because they love this sport the way that WE love it...Think about this... Why would one of the premier bike manufacturers in the world risk it all to go into another area? Three reasons... 1. They saw a void in the off road market for innovative thinking 2. They had a love for off road like we do and wanted to change it. 3. They had the guts to not only try something new ,they stuck with it until it hurt them. If it were me ,in hindsight I would have run then for at least a year on the race circuit before ever offering them to the public, so as to get some of the bugs worked out. But what the hey, whats done is done! If someone(c'mon Harley) buys them now the will have a gem of a bike/quad and a loyal followig to build on!(something Cdale didnt have initially) Whaddya say Harley? Or Artic Cat? Or Redline?

Look out Gentleman;
If I win the Lottery y'all can be employees.
I'm also waiting for someone to snap up this project. In my opinion I'll be Dale for life. This is way too great of a project to let die.
I don't want another quad because nothing else compares. And trust me, I rode most of them.

Top ten richest Americans.
Gates, William H. III
Buffett, Warren Edward
Allen, Paul Gardner
Ellison, Lawrence Joseph
Walton, Jim C.
Walton, John T.
Walton, S. Robson
Walton, Alice L.
Walton, Helen R.
Ballmer, Steven Anthony
Anyone of these could take Cannondale to the top and beyond.
A little humor helps in a time like this according to Kip's top ten I would say Cannondale is now going to be for sale at Wal-Mart.
