Cannon owners: What would you buy next?

For general aggressive play riding?
I've said it before - I'd steal a used 400EX from someone for $2500 (yes, they're out there), and build the heck out if it with the savings.
For a little over $1000 dumped into my engine, my 400EX develops more power than my Cannondale (it doesn't have the throttle response, but it will outrun it), and there's still a ton of things I can do to this extremely reliable engine for even more power.
If you're planning on building a 4 stroke sand dragger, go for the Raptor as it will have more potential in the end, but the handling is no where even close to the 400 class machines, no matter what they tell you.
400EX replacement parts are also dirt cheap which makes maintaining the quad very easy on the pocketbook (leaving more cash for aftermarket goodies).
If you like the 400 class feel, but want more power than the 400EX can ultimately deliver and don't care about costs, the Z400 would make a decent choice - although if I were going to dump the kind of cash into a Z400 that it will take to make it truly fast, I'd just build a CRF450 based hybrid from scratch.
Or you could do like the rest of us and wait for the Honda Vaporware quad.
JCV - you should be ashamed of yourself...... Just wait till we get back on the group, I'm telling Hak....

Heya Ryan!
After a Dale, I wouldnt buy another production quad unless it was equal to or better than a dale. I just cant stomache going backwards.
If the 2 worst things possible happen, Cannondale does not come back and then my quad blows up I'll build my own CRF or YZF powered bike.
Wonder what one of them engines would handle like in a Cannondale chassis? No need for sillyness with Oil rez, it's built in, has radiator etc. Cna you imagine how light that would be? Aluminum chassis, no starter or battery?
Anyone know what these things are putting out for horsepower?
