Default Cannondale Suggestion Box

I'm writing hoping to see if someone could get me off the fence here. Ok here's my story, In the last year I've had a Honda 450es (zzz) a DS650 (good bike but not good in tight Florida trails) and a LTZ400 (felt like I was riding on the front wheels) and KTM 300 MXC (broken right fibula). Now I'm back to square one again. I still have my dirt bike in which I've traded all those bike to get to it. It's come down to having to get another 4wheeler and I'm really digging that Cannibal. I'm not rich so I don't want to be spending any more money than needed. Alright if you were in my shoes would you (a Buy a 2003 cannibal and trade in the bike, net $3800.00 plus dealer fees or (b buy a used 2002 cannibal with lonestar axles and moto mapping (whatever that is), runs good but needs a new pipe ($400.)? and new rear plastic ($300.)? and sell the bike. I got the man down to $4500. (no nada on these) in which I could sell the dirt bike for $2500.? net: $2000. Now after boring you with this short story which one would you pick. (a) 2003 $3800 + tt w/ trade-in (b) 2002, $2000.00 after sale of dirt bike or (c) any other suggestion. I just don't want to have to buy another bike for awhile and was just hoping these bikes will last for some time. Of course with proper care. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!!

One thing I do not like to do is to put money into or fix someithing i just bought. Ebay has tons of cannibals for sale, some even cheaper then the boken one. Try looking into all the cannondale forums. I have seen about twenty cannibals go up for sale. If you do not want to travel to pick up your quad then I would say buy the new one. Then you have somesort of a warranty( if your dealer will do the work.)
moto mapping means the quad has a different program in it to make it run faster and better with a aftermarket exhaust. kinda like rejetting, but with a computer.
My 2002 cannibal has been a saint. No problems here in over 10months. You won't regret the cannondale.
