WHERE IS OUR SUPPORT FOR CANNONDALE!?!?!?
#21
I own a Cannondale and am proud of it. The way I see it there are a few types of atv owners or
want-a-bees.
First of all there's the kind that think there brand is the best and everyone elses sucks. Then there's the is the jealous type. Next there's the ones that still live in the stone age and are scared of "computer stuff". What's funny is without a computer they couldn't read this message. Then there's the atv owner like myself. I can appreciate the other makes. I had a 250r years ago and loved it. It handled great, had good power and was simple. However, it was a two stroke and had to have pre-mix fuel and the power wasn't as smooth as a four stroke. I rode a suzuki 400 a couple of weeks ago and thought it was fun to ride and handled fair but
I was a little dissapointed at the power. The 400ex is reliable, hadles good and is a good value but would be much better if it was liquid cooled. My Cannondale has a very strong power plant, handles good, rev's to the moon and is a blast to ride but I wish it had a reverse. I haven't had any problems with it and the engine noise is fine with me. Maybe that's a product of having an engine that rev's to 11,600 rpm's. Maybe if you rev brand "x" to 11,600 rpm's it will make noise too. Anyway, "happy trails".

my two cents. i own a full national 250r based quad and a a 03 cdale. i haven't reidden the 250r since i got the cdale race ready. i like my 250r, but i want to say it is night and day difference between my full after market 250r and a stock 250r bike. in stock form my cdale would out handle a stock 250r, in my opinion. my race ready cdale does not handle as well as my after market 250r, but it has more power, it's easier to ride and no mixing race gas or kicking it. i would like to see the cdale loose about 60 pounds and then compare it to my full after market 250r, i think the handling would be alot closer. as far as cdale going under, i hate it but at least i got one of the last quads before they did. by the way, all these after market parts for the 250r are great because the factory is not producing them any more so you might want to think about that before you down the cdale guys about parts. also, i don't care if my quad is loosing value, i'm satisfied with it and don't plan on parting with it any time soon. airtime
