Could also have something to do with attitude. I have a friend near Calgary who states, after reading accounts of US ATV activities, that when compared to the US, they have few problems with riders purposely tearing up public and private areas off established riding trails while leaving mountains of trash in their wakes. Understand that not all US riders are thoughtless and clueless, but we do have enough who are and that closes off much access for the rest.

Thats true, there's alot of careless people that use our riding areas. I don't know how many times I've went camping at the dunes and had to clean up the mess other left behind, I donno why it's so hard to clean up after yourseleves. People seem to think they own the place too, I see people cutting down trees and brush to make new trails all the time, isn't that the Forest Services job? People constantly disobay the boundary lines too, I see people crossing them all the time. Some people need to put more thought into what they are doing before acting.

A perfect example of why more and more land is being closed to ATV and dirt bike riders. Why do trolls like that think people post their land? In my case it's the inconsiderate morons who do 'veared off trail', tearing up ground cover that acts as drainage control that can take years to regenerate. Those landowners must be very patient people as in a lot of places a 3600fps 'twig' would puncture a tire or three until the sheriff arrived and in rural Oregon they'd then be cited for willful trespassing and financially responsible for the terrain damage. If a minor, the parents carry the financial responsibility. Maybe 'They was rude' is a acceptable excuse for trespassing where the poster lives, but not anywhere I'm familiar with.

No, the problem is I can't understand hillbilly "didn't pass the 4th grade" speak. You should only post AFTER you learn grammer and spelling, keep that in mind. Also, nice generalization there buddy...does it make you feel like a smart man?

Show me what it spelled wrong and since when did the forms become english class I mean come on hillbilly? how lame and anyways you may think of me as the yahoo that goes running down cars an saw'ing down trees but im not i am respectful towards people but you treat people as you would want to be treated and there was no reason for them to jump out yelling because i stoped the first time no chaseing so i figure if there going to act that way then ill join them simply because it gets under there skin. And as for us bickering im done i didnt mean to get on your case but you have to uderstand people sometimes as i said ive been rideing there for many years and then these people want to start chaseing people off a swearing at them that cant be justified.

On their own property in this country, they're always justified. You were the unauthorized trespasser. Your attitude is precisely why ATV and dirt bike enthusiasts find fewer and fewer places to ride.
