New York State DEC meetings, go and be heard!
#1
There are a series of meetings starting
Tues. 1/16/01 in Cheektowaga, NY town
hall at 5 PM. Be there and be heard by
the guys controlling the land. If we don't
go and tell we need trails we'll never
get any. Cheektowaga is Near Buffalo so
anyone in WNY who can be there should try
to make it.
Then on the 17th there is a meeting in the
Rochester Mueseum & Science Center. Then on
the 18th it's Syracuse at the SUNY Enviromental
School of Forestry. 1/23/01 at the Warwick
Hotel in NYC, 1/24/01 DEC office in New Paltz,
1/25/01 in Albany at the Guilderland town
hall. There are about a 1/4 million or so
ATVs and other off road vehicles in New
York. Let's get out to these meetings and
be heard.
For more info on this go to
www.dec.state.ny.us. Don't miss this
chance to be heard by the powers that be.
If we don't go you can bet some guy who
doesn't like ATVs will be there.
